If I haven’t responded to your text message it’s not because I don’t care; it’s because I can’t keep up with the speed of it all and I’m trying (against all odds) to live slowly. I’m trying to give everything the time it deserves. I’m trying not to multitask and I’m trying to care less about dropping the ball! In fact, I say drop all the balls you can, move to the country, start your own private garden in which you’ll grow all your own food (slowly of course) and forget to wear shoes most days while wearing a very cool pair dungarees. Okay, so maybe we can’t all do that. But we can at least look at this photograph and be reminded that the more speed we live with the more blurred it all becomes.
